Our Brief History

Founded on April 7, 1957, the Shree Narsi Murji Vidhyarthi Gruh hostel in the quaint village of Patri stands as a testament to a noble vision. Established with the primary objective of providing education to the students of Patri and Kachh, With the efforts of Shri Patri Sarvoday Samaj, with a view to give facilities of Nearby villages to study in High School at Patri, a Residential hostel (Vidhyarthi Gruh) was started. With a Donation of Land by Shri Tokarshi Lalji Kapadia, a Gandhian follower, construction of building was planned.During this time, Donation was collected from Donors. A Donation was received from brothers Shri Tokarshi Narshi Vora & Shri Premji Narshi Vora for a Loving Memory of their father. So this Gruh was Named as Shri Narsi Murji Vidhyarthi Gruh. The hostel plays a pivotal role in the community by offering education to students who may not have the financial means to afford high fees, providing them an opportunity for growth and development at concessional rates. Over the span of many years, Shree Narsi Murji Vidhyarthi Gruh has been a beacon of education, witnessing the graduation of thousands of students, leaving an indelible mark on the community it serves.

7 એપ્રિલ, 1957 ના રોજ સ્થપાયેલ, પત્રીના વિલક્ષણ ગામમાં શ્રી નરસી મુરજી વિદ્યાર્થી ગૃહ છાત્રાલય એક ઉમદા દ્રષ્ટિકોણના પ્રમાણપત્ર તરીકે ઊભું છે. પાટરી અને કચ્છના વિદ્યાર્થીઓને શિક્ષણ આપવાના પ્રાથમિક ઉદ્દેશ્ય સાથે સ્થપાયેલી આ સંસ્થા શ્રી ટોકરસી લાલજી કાપડિયાના ઉદાર યોગદાનથી શક્ય બની છે, જેમણે આ ઉમદા હેતુ માટે પોતાની જમીન દાનમાં આપી હતી. તેમના પિતાની સ્મૃતિને હૃદયપૂર્વકની શ્રદ્ધાંજલિમાં, બે ભાઈઓ, શ્રી ટોકરસી નરસી વોરા અને પ્રેમજી નરસી વોરાએ સંસ્થાના નિર્માણમાં ઉદારતાથી ટેકો આપ્યો. છાત્રાલય એવા વિદ્યાર્થીઓને શિક્ષણ આપીને સમાજમાં મહત્ત્વની ભૂમિકા ભજવે છે કે જેમની પાસે ઊંચી ફી પરવડી શકે તેવા નાણાંકીય સાધનો નથી, તેમને રાહત દરે વૃદ્ધિ અને વિકાસની તક પૂરી પાડે છે. ઘણા વર્ષોના ગાળામાં, શ્રી નરસી મુરજી વિદ્યાર્થી ગૃહ એ શિક્ષણનું દીવાદાંડી રહ્યું છે, જે હજારો વિદ્યાર્થીઓના સ્નાતક થયાનું સાક્ષી છે, અને તે જે સમુદાયમાં સેવા આપે છે તેના પર અમીટ છાપ છોડી રહ્યું છે.
